As part of the project, seven buildings in emergency condition were demolished on the site. Initially, the project planned to preserve part of a historic building facade in accordance with the requirements of the National Cultural Heritage Administration (NKMP). However, based on a technical assessment by a certified structural engineer, the structure was found to be unsafe and in critical condition, and full demolition was approved.

The buildings were mechanically dismantled in a controlled manner, ensuring safety due to the proximity of a tram line and an active street. The works also included foundation dismantling and proper sealing of any exposed underground engineering utilities.

All construction waste was sorted and disposed of in accordance with the Waste Management Law, while hazardous waste was transferred to a licensed disposal facility.

After demolition, the site was leveled, topsoil was applied, and grass was seeded, restoring the area in accordance with municipal landscaping requirements.
